Sportfishing in Alaska is an angler’s dream come true
Not only will you be fishing in one of the best fishing grounds in Southeast Alaska, you will be fishing in “cruise ship style” aboard fully equipped luxury boats. All of our charter boats have warm cozy cabins, bathrooms and kitchens.
Juneau Sportfishing is a local fishing charter that has operated in Juneau, Alaska since 1982! Started by Suparna, a longtime resident of Juneau, the company offers trips for both salmon fishing and bottom fishing! We have expanded to a fleet of 6 vessels and operate May – September in Auke Bay.
The fleet is comprised of five 30ft Bayliners, complete with a covered cabin and a private bathroom. The Comet is 25ft. There is seating inside with a table for refreshments. The fishing gear is well maintained and updated seasonally.

Salmon Sportfishing Adventure
Come salmon fishing with us around the islands and reefs of Auke Bay in Juneau, Alaska! You will board a 26-to-30ft enclosed vessel, with no more than six other guests, and skippered by a US Coast Guard – licensed captain.
Downriggers are used to lower fishing lines to depth and guests play the rods when a fish hits. If the fishing is slow, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Inside Passage and keep an eye out for wildlife such as whales, eagles, and sea lions!
Those of you lucky enough to catch salmon, your fish can be processed locally and shipped home for an additional charge.
A small snack will be served during the trip. The vessel is equipped with an onboard restroom.

Fins & Grins Bottom Fishing
The action never ends on this fishing adventure! Perfect for beginners, and fun for all ages, you can expect to catch a variety of fish available in the productive Southeast Alaskan waters!
Twenty minutes out of the harbor, receive your fishing rod for your first opportunity to wet a line! This excursion is very much hands-on, with fishing rod in-hand for as long as you like! You may expect to catch any number of a variety of fish from cod, flounder, sole, herring and sculpin.
While the fishing is great – so is the sightseeing! The waters of Auke Bay are teeming with whales, bald eagles, and other wildlife!
It is your choice to hook and release or have your catch locally processed to be shipped home at an additional charge.
